Okay so..
From the title above, this part is just a basic knowledge on what the blog is going to be about and SLE.
SLE in full form (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) and in Arabic ألذئبة الحمراء .
I know I know your probably saying what the hell is she talking about ?!
Basically, SLE is an auto-immune disease which means, the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue in the body. Stupid right? :)
Anyways, This disease is more common in women than men, more often in African Americans and Asians (like me). It can affect the skin, joints, kidneys, brain, heart and many other organs.
Its cause is not fully known and there is no cure to it. Its only the symptoms that can be controlled.
Okay now you're probably thinking "Is this a blog or a Bio Lesson and what's this have to do with what you're going to put in the blog?"
You see a 2 years from now, I have been diagnosed with this disease and well.. the symptoms started 5 months before I was diagnosed.
The purpose of this blog is to make people aware of this sickness and to make them realise and understand what affects it has on us. I also made this blog to inspire anyone out there who is struggling with SLE or has a family member or a friend with the same sickness. I want people to know that living with this sickness isn't easy and affects us both physically and mentally..
Here is a site where patients from all around the world post some of their brief experiences with the disease.

I am going to tell a half true story in which I combine my experience with incidents and characters I made up. To be honest I don't remember every single thing I went through..
Ill try detailing as much as I can possibly remember and Ill also try adding a lil bit of romance to spice things up a bit ,, You can comment down below to tell me any suggestions or opinions, ill be listening to it with a open heart. but please keep your hateful and judging comments to yourself :*
Ill be telling the story in the form of a first-person where Ill be Bianca the very main character of the story. I hope you like it and support me enough to make this work ..
Thankss <3

Ps: there's nothing such as no cure for my disease , GOD has created the universe in 7 days , & of course if you pray to him he can cure you ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are very much correct.. Miracles can happen anytime,, I meant that there is no cure medication wise. That's the point of the blog, there will be ups and downs but I'll still be moving on positively and hoping for the best C;
